Welcome to our guest quarters!

Stonehearth & Bungalow

The Bungalow and Stonehearth are two lovely getaways that provide just about everything you need, whether you’re scheduling a two-night vacation or a two-month sabbatical! Each is half of a cottage-style home that was built in the late 1800s and divided into these two private residences more than 50 years ago.

Both lodgings have been beautifully renovated, yet retain the vintage charm and architectural details that we love.

Stonehearth

This spacious studio flat accommodates three people, and will make you feel instantly at home in any season. The main sleeping area is separated from the living room by mission-style pillars and sleeping curtains. From the queen-sized bed, you can watch the gas fire in the fieldstone fireplace you’ll love. Sunshine streams in through two sets of original French windows. A comfy rocking chair by the hearth is the perfect partner to a glass of wine and a good book after a day of antique shopping or sunning at the beach.

Just off the living room is a small bedroom with an antique iron twin bed (and new custom-made mattress!) that is ideal for an adult or child traveling with you. The kitchen has new appliances, including a dishwasher, and the original built-in pantry cupboard with its bubbly glass doors holds beautiful dishes, glassware and serving pieces for your use.

The Bungalow - Open for Reservations

This cozy two-story apartment offers flexible sleeping options for up to four people. The kitchen has new appliances and a small adjacent dining area. The heated sunporch off the living room has a daybed and pop-up trundle, which makes it a cheery sleeping room for one or two, or the perfect place to curl up with a book and catch an afternoon nap.

Upstairs are two bedrooms – one with a queen bed and one with a twin – plus a bathroom with a tub/shower.

Dormer windows upstairs and the mix of new and antique furnishings give the Bungalow a classic cottage feel.

Comfort is in the details

Both Stonehearth and the Bungalow come with pretty bed-linens and bath towels, well-equipped kitchens, books and games, and lots of extras so you'll feel pampered and well cared for. Both also have central heat and air conditioning to keep you comfortable year round. Cable TV lets you keep up on the news and weather. The herbs and flowers in the gardens are yours to use for cooking, bathing and bouquets!

These welcoming retreats offer a convenient base from which to explore the lakeshore, and are a perfect home-away-home if you're delivering or picking up children from Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.

Covered storage is available for bicycles.
