The Bungalow

The Bungalow is a lovely getaway that provides just about everything you need, whether you want a two-night vacation or a two-month sabbatical! This cozy two-story apartment is half of a cottage-style home that was built in the late 1800s. Renovated this year, it offers up-to-date comfort and convenience with lots of vintage charm.

Comfort is in the details

The Bungalow's kitchen comes complete with new appliances including a dishwasher so you can make everything from toast and jam to a multi-course meal. A heated sunporch off the living room has a daybed and pop-up trundle and is the perfect place to curl up with a book or catch an afternoon nap.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a twin, plus a bathroom with a tub/shower. Pretty bed linens and plush bath towels are included.

Dormer windows upstairs and the mix of new and antique furnshings give the Bungalow a classic cottage feel. Centeral heat and air conditioning keep you comfortable year-round, and cable TV let's you stay in touch. You'll find a good supply of books and games and lots of extras so you'll feel pampered and well cared for. If you're like us, you'll also appreciate the supply of paper products made from recycled paper and reusable green bags for trips to the grocer and the Farmer's Market. Coffee drinkers love the10-cup packs of fair-trade Song Bird coffee.

This welcoming retreat offers a convenient base from which to explore the lakeshore, and is a perfect home-away-from-home if you're delivering or picking up children from Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. The Hart-Montague Trail runs just a few blocks from the Bungalow, and we have covered storage for your bicycles.
